Looking for ancestors of Thomas Jackson born 1955 in Newcastle under Lyme listed as Bricklayer in1881 census, which would make him 16 in1871. Father's name was probably Thomas or Tom from same area and possibly in brickworks industry.

Hi, here they are I think in 1871 in what looks like Penkhull Street?, Newcastle. They are Thomas Jackson, head, born 1832, Cordwainer, Sarah Ann, wife, born 1837, Thomas, son, born 1854, General Labourer, William Henry, son, born 1858, scholar and Mary Ann, daughter, born 1867. All of the above are born in Newcastle-under-Lyme.

Hi, have just noticed there is a Rootschatter called Shefhack who has left some posts just below yours in the lookup requests who also has a Thomas Jackson son of Thomas Jackson in Newcastle under Lyme also in the brickwork trade. Might be worth getting in touch, you never know?!
