Has anyone come across a Mary Monk who married John Fewell in 1763 Great Easton.  If so, have you fitted them in your tree somewhere, or could this be the elusive Mary who John married before Elizabeth Lanham?

Hi Susie,
Can't help you with Mary Monk but I noticed in the Thaxted transcripts John Monk baptised 9 April 1721, parents John & Sarah.  I'm not sure if there were others (Monks) because I found it in the last 15 mins of my last day at the ERO.  I noted it whilst looking for Humphreys & Campions, thinking that I might be close to finding Elizabeth Monk I jotted down John, then remembered that Elizabeth was born circa 1696 so took no further interest in Monks.
I only mention this in case you are desperate for clues, might be handy to know there are Monk/s in Thaxted.
