By the way love the pic of Akaroa, always loved that part of the country, there are some very knowledgable people here so you may have some luck. Yes but nothing beats home.

just had my first trip to Akaroa, its such a beautiful town, and  breath taking as you come up over the hill and see it, we were lucky just missed the snow, came a couple days after leaving. Still Rotorua is a pretty city to.  But i have a sister in Brisbane, so i try and get over as much as i can to get some warm weather.

Shame on you Ann ! We have had a simply wonderful summer  in NZ- a scorcher in fact. Just have to listen to those cicadas to know how hot it is. A friend in Perth tells me it is 48 degrees there  and simply unbearable.

I think i missed that hot weather NZ had, as i was in brisbane looking after my sister.  but i hate the cold and Rotorua is now getting cold....no place like home, i would never leave here.. 

i LOVE rootschat, i have made some truely lovely lovely friends,, people have been fantastic..  just great,,, so thanks everyone..
