Not much to go on

My Nan Had a sister who the family seem to think (not sure)Emigranted to
              Bullowayo (S. Rhodesia)
This could have been around 1940 /50/60 time  un sure   
     Name Amy  Victoria Slatter   Could have married some one called GIDDY  But again un sure 
She was born In Swindon Village In 1897 and was put in to a home At Bristol i have the records ! ,

But i lose her from 1917 !
         And no one in family knows much more ,,

So any one shed any light on this ???Please      Huh
