Hi
Sorry but I cannot find the Haines on 1851 census for Alderbury with the names that you are seeking. However, there is one Elizabeth born Alderbury, aged 13 and a daughter of Stephen. living in Alderbury at that time.

Thank you for checking. I have the 1851 for Stephen and Maria that you referred to. It is possible that the families may have temporarily relocated to another village in Wiltshire as they were laborers - probably agriculture related.

Thanks. That is the Job I was looking for. They apparently moved a little, which is why I was having trouble. The Haines that I am looking for were all born in Alderbury parish except Thomas Sr., and Thomas Jr.
I have been checking the parish records and have found most of the children, but there are at least 3 children that I have shown up on later census records, but aren't showing on the parish records. I wondered if they had moved for short periods to find work and had children born in another parish. I wanted to check the census for all the siblings to make sure I'm not missing other children. I really appreciate your looking for me.

You and Muddy have been very helpful with your transcriptions of the census records you have access to.
