No luck but its an ongoing research project between me and Alta! If anyone has any details of Chambers/Chandlers in Stockbury, Holingbourne, or their environs in the late 1700s or early 1800s could they let me know!

I can`t help with Stockbury but I do have some info for Hollingbourne, here is what I found:-
Baptism - Robert Chandler - 13th July 1777
Parents - Thomas & Elizabeth
There are six other Chambers baptisms but they are between 1556-1692
Just the one marriage 
Elizabeth Chambers & John Taylor - 16th April 1776

Great, thanks for all the pointers, we fear we may never solve the mystery of whether Chandler evolved to Chambers, and if so when, but we keep chipping away.
