Where is Canada board?

Now that the "drop down thingy" has gone, how can I reach the board for Canada, and also how access the various counties onced I get there HELP

I want to place another

appeal on there bur do`nt know how to get there!!


      HELP HELP going down, down, save me please

Hi Mars Barr,

several possibilities:

- click on the "Home" button on the top of any page, or
- click on the RootsChat.Com in the "leaves and branches" at the top of any topic

and you reach the index page, where everything else is available

Click on the General (leaves and branches) and you land in the middle of the index page at the General board.  From there you can click on Emigrants, or direct on the Child board: Emigrants to Canada
If you are often "in" Canada, you might want to go in once and then add the link to your favourites.

I`m trying to find the Canada board (bo Hoo, I`m lost)

I`m going in circles here, I`ve tried the bramch thingy at the top, but it does not have it on it, where is it?Huh?? Help help please

Ive had the most awful time getting back on here, the common room does not always show on the leaves & branches
and I cannot see the bits you are mentioning!!

The leaves and branches symbols change depending upon where you are in the boards However clicking on the topmost leaf will always bring you to the index page from where you can enter any of the boards.

This example of the leafs and branches shows that I am in Technical Help which is in The common Room which is in General .... just read the branches from the bottom up.

if you use any particular board more than any other if you make your way to the main page for it ..... just for this example I'll use "Technical help" .... Right click with your mouse on that name and you'll get a menu to appear. On this menu you should see an item "Add to Favorites" ... left click on this and that board will be accessible at any time through your favorites menu (a star on the main menu bar of Internet Explorer) as in image 2

By spending a little time you can customise Rootschat in a folder of its own in your Favorites which means at a single click you can jump from one board to another

it does not show on the "leaves and branches" I just cannot find it

Ok - :

1  Click on "home" at top of page OR on top leaf labelled "Rootschat.com"

2  Scroll down to the "General" area

3 Click on "Emigrants" the fourth item under general

4 Sub categories now appear: Emigrants to US (with Look up requests and Look up offers), Emigrants to Australia (with similar sub boards), Emigrants to Canada (with sub boards of Resources, Look up requests)

5 Click on whichever link will take you to the sub board that you want.

Does that work?
