Would I be able to find out any information at a LDS FHC that is not on their website?

Hi

If you visit the FHC you can order parish registers, the parish registers will contain more information than is available on there website.

For example a marriage entry on a parish register will contain both the bride and grooms fathers names(hopefully) and the occupations of all three men, the address at the time of the marriage and the witnessess.

You can go to the FHC in Exeter for example and order the parish register for a parish in Staffordshire. You can check in the library section of the website what exactly you can order http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Library/FHLC/frameset_fhlc.asp

There is a charge for this service - I dont know though how much it costs. It would probably be less than the petrol costs from Stafford to Exeter!!
