I am trying to find some information about a Samuel Lea (lee) born 1749 in Wellington.
Could anyone help me to find his baptism or marriage or any informtion about his wife. He married in June 1773 in Wellington wifes name Eleanor Downing.
Maybe they are on the 1821 census.
Any information would help.

Hi reedy,
I am wondering whether your Samuel Lea could have been a relative of my Margaret Lea (poss father?)
She married Samuel Peplow in 1797 and had 4 children in wellington: Margaret, Samual, Sarah and Martha.
I have no further info on her though.

He could be related. I can only find one child that Samuel had. His name was Samuel born 1788 in little Wenlock Shropshire i will chck the children again
