Click on 'Church Documents' and this site has details of a lot of Christenings, banns, marriages and burials (1846 to 2002) as well as transcripts of census records (1841 to 1901) for the parish of Chantry, Somerset.

Hi Jules try this ,google somerset pr transcripts on line then once you are through click H then click Patricia Westwood and there are some records available.
As for Shepton Mallet follow the same route but click on S.

Hi this will require you to join the group but then you can access their parish records, its all free by the way.
Google yahoo groups dorset family history and then click on dorsom families, I havnt used them my self but belong to the Somerset yahoo groups. If the records are not available you can post a look up as the moderator usually has access to them.
