Where are Thomas and Emily (Emma) Howell later than 1901??
« on: Thursday 02 March 06 21:14 GMT (UK) »

Hi can anyone help?
In the 1901 census of Bristol at 289 Newfoundland Road is a Thomas Howell aged 64 and his wife Emily Howell aged 66. In the 1891 census they were at the same address except that his wife is called Emma. I have got her called Emma and Emily in various censuses so Emma and Emily are the same person. Can any one tell me where they were later than 1901, as I would like to find when both of them died?
Many thanks in anticipation of your help.

Hi Brian,

The latest census is 1901.  At the moment it is possible to search for free  Births, Marriages and Deaths indexes at www.ancestry.co.uk.

Susan,
Thanks for that. I have tried searching 1901 to 1910 on Free BMD without success. I was hoping that perhaps someone may be able to follow them by another route e.g street directories, before I had a go at the indexs quarter by quarter.
Regards
