Hi Carole,

There is a lot of work in this one - which is OK - except when you look at the ladies dress there is no definition to it - so it just looks like a white sheet.
Just did a quickie on her to show - does anyone know the best way to go about reintroducing some pattern to her dress?

Cheers
Keith

My Mum had an overlay on her dress - kind of shimmery looking ! ( though it looked like an ordinary dress!! ) and I'm wondering if that's what Carol's Grandma had!!  Smiley

Hi Keith

I think it was just a plain cream dress with no pattern on it at all. Something she made herself I think

If you could do it , could I have a bit of colour on it as well please - both had very dark hair - between black and dark brown

Thanks in advance

Hi Carol,

Sometimes it's nice to be proved right  Wink

I knew this one was beyond my limited capabilities - and so it has proved.  Roll Eyes

Keith, it might be worth trying to preserve some more shadow from the original image - not the one cast by the photographer! Think this would take a while to do though. I might have a try but restoring old photos has made my eyes pretty iffy Cry

Keith that is fine but might look better with a muted edge rather than jagged.

It is nice though and Thanks

Very nice Tomkin and Thanks

I always laugh at this photo of them both as my Grandad looks so shy and that he doesn't really want to be there lol
