My uncle is Donald McCrimmon. He lives in Allegheny Co., Penna., USA. His father was Robert McCrimmon born 1887 in Dunbartonshire Scotland. He married Elizabeth Anderson born about 1889, also in Dunbartonshire, whose maiden name was maybe Duffy.
I have Robert and Elizabeth and their children {Elizabeth, Donald and Jessie} in the 1930 Allegheny Co. Penna. census but I have not been able to find their parents in either USA or UK census data. I could not find them in the 1920 USA census. I do have a copy of Robert's WWI draft registration card signed in 1917 wherein he spells his name as MacCrimmon. I did not find him on the Ellis Island immigration lists. I did not find them in the Mc/MacCrimmon Genealogical Registry.  I have not tried the pay per view Scotlands People web site. Do you recognize any of these names??

You should try ScotlandsPeople, it will be the easiest (and cheapest!) way to find the parents of both Robert and Elizabeth.  A free search on SP shows only 1 Robert McCrimmon born in Dunbartonshire in 1887.
