I am trying to find out about a accident between 1861-64 Robert Douglas died 1864 among other things it states he was paraplegic due to accident as he was a forrest worker I wonder did a tree fall on him?He was living in Forrester's House LockerbieHill Dryfesdale .does anyone know which if any Newspaper would report this accident? would there of been an inquiry in those days ?who would he have worked for ?would it be the local authorities Lots of questions I know but tried Google and cant find a thing
