1841 Census Lookup for Annan

Looking for a Thomas Craig, b. 1821 OR c.1823 at Annan/Ecclesfechan, Dumfriesshire. Parents possibly a William and Janet Craig.

Would be very grateful for any help

Hi Jonny,

I've checked the name index for Annan, Annan Landward and Annan outskirts - nowt sorry  Undecided No Craig names at all - nothing even close.

Also checked the following...

Dumfries Landward - Craig's but no Thomas.
Kirkmahoe - Craig's but no Thomas.
Gretna - Craig's but no Thomas.
Lochmaben (& Landward) - Craig but no Thomas
Johnstone - no Craigs
Cummertrees - 1 (Agnes)
Dornock - no Craigs
Dumfries - Quite a few one family with a Thomas - wrong age though.

CRAIG

Thomas 35 letter carrier bn Scotland (not DFS)
Mary 36 bn England
Elizabeth 17 strawhatmaker bn Scotland (not DFS)
Agnes 15 bn dressmaker Scotland (not DFS)
Archibald 13 bn Scotland (not DFS)
William 9 bn Scotland (not DFS)
Thomas 8m bn DFS

Note this is from an index so may not be the full occupants.

Hope this helps narrow them down?
