Elizabeth / Betsey CURNOW b Zennor 1797

Hi
I'd like to find out more details on Elizabeth (father Jacob) CURNOW born c 1797 in Zennor.  She married a RICHARDS (dont know christian name).

I've found her in the 1841 census age 45 in Ayr Lane, St Ives, but no mention of a husband, with children Sampson age 15, Elizabeth age 14, Mary age 12, William age 9, Philis age 5 & Jacob Curnow age 75. 

I'd like to find Elizabeth's birth details, who she married and when her husband  died cos he wasn't around in the 1841 census. 

Also if any of the children died.  I know that Sampson went to Aust. in 1854.

Can I ask why you think she was born Zennor? And I presume you're only guessing that Jacob CURNOW is her father?

This might be her in 1861..

Which would put her birth year around 1793 -

Both born in county

Jacob could be Elizabeth's uncle? Worth considering anyway  Wink

Yes, I am assuming that Jacob Curnow was Elizabeth's father. 
But in the 1851 census I found her still in Ayr Lane (as Betsey Richards) and still with the same children except for William.  On that census it gives her birth place as Zennor, Cornwall and occupation as Charwoman. 
Your info on 1861 census for Elizabeth/Betsey sounds like it could fit.

Would like to follow up on her children too.

These should help somewhat.
There are also some very good willsites,
St.Erth page, Kathy Weigels site
and Cornish Probate.
You should find the 2 latter by using your search.
