SLY family in Hull late 1800's onwards
« on: Saturday 02 October 04 19:29 BST (UK) »

I am researching Slys from Warminster in Wiltshire.
James Sly from Warminster remarried in Hull in 1871 to Sarah Pettingell and had 6 children. Understand some of the family were in Lincolnshire and some are still in Sheffield area. Would like to hear from anyone connected to these families.Lots of information to share going back to early 1700's.
Regards,
Geoff.

Hi Geoff

Sorry we haven't been able to help you so far on this one.

Have you made any progress,  or do you have any further details that could help someone to find what you are looking for?

Look forward to hearing from you.

Best wishes

Hi Ticker,
I have actually made contact with a descendant of the family through a message board elsewhere and have put them in touch with a lost relative which was worthwhile. Very little else is known otherwise I'm afraid.

Best wishes,
Geoff.
