Sorry about that. I knew I'd posted once before about Cheshire marriages, hadn't realised it was this couple I'd asked about.
I've just found a marriage on IGI between John Roberts and Fanny Owens in 1803 at St Oswald, Chester, which would be convenient for the eldest known child b about 1804. Is this parish not included in the database?

Not a problem, I just knew there was something familiar about Frances Hopley!  - and hoped that it might be a connection with another researcher for you.
The coverage varies, but St Oswald's isn't there. There are no resources that cover every parish so I would always advise doing more research to confirm (or not!) but at least it can help as a starting point sometimes. I think that the Chester marriage sounds more likely though.

Hello I am hoping you can find for me a marriage between Henry Brindley and Elizabeth(maybe Hannah) Hall between 1800 and 1820 in Chester Cheshire. Their son Henry was my great grandfather. Any information on this marriage record would be helpful. I am having trouble finding the correct Brindley family for my Henry.

I can't do blanket searches for a surname, and I'm unable to limit it by church, but a a glance there only seems to be a couple.
Is there anything specific that you are looking for?

I'm wondering if you can find the marriage of a James Smallwood to Phebe. They had at least 2 kids in 1798 and 1802 so it probably took place in the 1790's close to Astbury.

Hi
I was wondering if you could find any record of a Samuel Shingler married to Susannah ?, i can find the baptism of a daughter in 1751 at Daresbury but checking back no mention of a marriage so I guess they were not in that area when they married. I am estimating their birth from death records to be around 1720, sorry no more info as this is where I have hit a brick wall. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Denise,
Sorry nothing there for them, sounds like you've already checked Daresbury PR's. I can also confirm that they didn't marry at Frodsham, not many Shinglers there at all. Have you tried Runcorn? It's not far from Daresbury and was a big parish at that time. It's probably worth keeping an eye out on the Lancashire OPC site for Warrington St Elphin - the years you are looking for aren't there yet, but it is being added to all the time.
