I am researching the Vaus family who were Thames watermen/lightermen.  The names Benjamin Thomas and Augustus Hiram crop up in most generations.  Has anyone come across the birth (or first marriage) of Benjamin Thomas Vaus who married his second wife, Sarah Harley, at St Botolphs without Aldergate in 1762?

Hi Cougar,
Many thanks for taking the trouble to look for my elusive Benjamin VAUS.
I will check out the website to see if it throws up any clues.
