When a photo is put in profile, does it appear on your own posting? If so I've stuffed it up.

Hi Bob,
I think I'm doing the right thing, when I transfer the image over, I get 'PERSONLISED PICTURE' notification. When I look at  my postings the photo doesn't appear. Is this right? (The old brain doesn't function so well nowadays)

One possibility is that the RootsChat Linux server doesn't like the Windows (nasty) habit of allowing blanks in file and path names. try moving the picture to the root and uploading c:\Phil0003.JPG

Second possibility is that your "normal photo" is too big.  The size is important, about 120 pixels wide.

A third possibility is that the option "Upload my own picture" has a bug - others have also had problems here.
Try attaching your picture to this topic and transferring it from here to the profile
(tutorial, 3a) Image on RootsChat)
