  Hello,

My grt. grandfather was a Robert Hardcastle Johnston born 1818 - 1821.  I am trying to trace his exact birth place the only information I have is Newtown Co. Westmeath.  I can trace him on all census in England from age 30 1851. (There is a possibility his father was Nicholas)  I have also read of a Benjamin Hardcastle Johnston who emigrated to Canada in 1860's, as the middle name is quite unusual think there must be a connection.  Any help please.
