Hi everyone
I have 2 missing brothers -
John ALDRICH bapt 1823 St Ives, Cornwall Nathaniel Thomas ALDRICH bapt St Ives, Cornwall 1828
sons of Charles ALDRICH (curate) & Susanna FRANCE
The family were back in Torquay, Devon by 1833, Brixham by 1836 & East Stonehouse by 1843.
They are not with the family for the 1841 census & I have been unable to find a death for them in Cornwall or Devon nor can I find them in any of the later census returns.
they just fell off the face of the earth.
I would appreciate anything at all on these missing members of a family of 11 children.
Kim

Hi Alli
Yes Pelham was a brother of John & Nathaniel, it was noted in a contempory diary of Charles Aldrich (their father) that he was horribly burnt.
still no sign of his brothers
Thanks for looking

Hi Krissy
Did I say that, now I'm confused.
I have a marriage for Rosetta Hamline Gray ( I'd love to know where they get some of these 2nd names from.) to Joseph Soady.
I didn't have marriages for France or Thomas though so thank you for that.
It was actually this Rosetta Gray's cousin Rosetta France & 3 of her sisters Elizabeth Chamen France, Louisa Wilkins France & Mary Ann France who remained unmarried. A 4th sister Harriet France is mentioned in their fathers will in 1832 but then vanishes I have not been able to find a marriage or death for that one.
Rosetta Hamline Gray's mother was Jenny Hamline France she also had 2 sisters Rosetta France & Elizabeth France who are mentioned in their fathers will in 1800 but I haven't found a marriage or death for these 2 either.
Thanks for this marriage info on France & Thomas Gray
