I seek info on William Smith married to Elizabeth Scrivens, and used to live in Kings Norton. Any living relatives of William or his son William G? (maybe Kings Terrace)
The rest of the family went to New Zealand.
Is there any info on a fire that killed some Smith children?
I have tried for myself but need the massive help of Rootschatters. Thanks for previous help. Mike
Sorry I'm out of practice of course you need dates.
The best I have at present is that William and Elizabeth emigrated to NZ William, Elizabeth and their 5 children excluding WGT emigrated in 1930. William Snr died in NZ in 1961 Elizabeth Annie Scrivens (William wife) died in NZ in 1947
William G T Smith remained in UK
WGT death cert shows the informant as Betty Patricia Smith, although previous research has found a Mary Laurence as the wife of WGT.
Are there any descendants of W G T Smith still living?
I have a couple of Smiths in Kings Norton but they do not match any of yours.
Thomas Smith and Elizabeth Burrows Married in 1910, had 3 daughters between 1911 and 1917 in Kings Norton... Thats all I know about Thomas Smith as he died before 1920 and my great grandmother remarried.
I have the Marriage Certificate of a Cecilia SMITH and John Green, married in Kings Norton in 1838. Her father, James Smith, was a milkman. She and John Green later became my greatx3 grandparents. Don't know if this is any use or evn interest to you, but for what it's worth.....If you want I can tell you the rest of the family tree after that. Jenny
