hi teresa, the only john and dinah marriage i can find on parish records was in bristol, gloucestershire 30 oct 1836, no parents names given

It might be worth remembering that a Dinah LARDER was bap at Covenham St Bart, 26 July 1818, dau of  Thomas and Ann ... the only Dinah in the C St B baptisms 1760-1836 according to the IGI.

Thank you I shall bear that in mind she certainly sounds the better option - I am fortunate that most of the kids were born after 1837 so at least i can get birth certs to prove it

Louthesk deanery marriages has:

John Smith - Dinah LARDER 27 April 1837 , Covenham St Bart

  There are other marriages of interest in Covenham St Bart, for example:


Richard Larder- Elizabeth Andrews 1736
Elizabeth Larder- George Leemon 21/5/1830
William Larder-Maria Bratley 18/6/1835


The only Thomas Larder - Ann marriage that I can find is Ann Wilkinson 1809 Louth.
