I`m new to this site. Does anyone out there have this record?  I know it`s available from the Bookstall but hate to buy it for a few entry searches.
Can anyone help?
thanks

Hi CJ,

Have you tried searching (free) on this CFHS facility?

Kind regards,

Thanks for responding Frances.  Yes, I did search that site.  That`s how I found "my people".

After the info is an * which means there is more info .  I`m trying to find out what "more info " means.

Usually more info just means the father occupation or occasionally it might say something like "of Pymoor " or "of fifth drove"

To get the full details referred to you would need to get the transcript of that particular parish (the index provides most of the detail apart from occupation, and possibly a birth date if a helpful vicar made a note of this, or perhaps even mother's maiden name)

As you don't give the names you are interested in or the parish it's a bit difficult for anyone to check for you!

If you let us have more detail someone may have the transcript for that particular parish.

Regards

David
