SIT search returns blank form

Tried to access , but with no success, it keeps coming back to a blank form telling me to fill in at least one subject, I tried, Name, Bacon, County, Derbyshire,, place, Belper. What is my problem. Another query, i notice on most posts the surname intrest is shown below the message, how doe's one initiate this ?

Did you scroll the page down having done your search.  The reply is listed below a new blank form usually off the bottom of the screen which is a bit confusing first time.

Also be aware that there is no link between what you put in your profile and what you put in the Surname Interests Table.

and I have taken your comment on board and changed the SIT so that the browser jumps "into" the results table, when anything is found. 

I hope this will help, to make it more obvious when anything has been found.

Hi All,

I've now changed the output.

  • Fill in the form, and click on Search
  • you will now see a line X Entries found (where X may be 0)
  • then you will see the results of your search (if X greater than 0  Grin )
  • and at the end of the list, the form will be outputted again

Hope this works out better for everybody (feedback always welcome)  Smiley
