William Bendall SEARLES bc 1895 Lowestoft

Hi -
I'm trying to discover the parents of William Bendall Searles who I believe was born in Lowestoft on 29th October 1895 and who died 12th June 1943.
He was a pilot in the Royal Flying Corps at Dover, Kent. He married there and later ran a Commercial Artist business in Dover.
He does not appear to be on the 1901 census as far as I can tell.
I believe that his father was a Plumber with a shop in Lowestoft.
I have located a Robert Searles, a Plumber and decorator at 170 London Road, Kirkley, Lowestoft (from the 1901 census) but William Bendall is not shown.
I would be very grateful to hear from anyone who may be able to help.
I also believe that his family had branches in Bristol and Plymouth, but this is unconfirmed.

See reply to your similar query on the Norfolk board. If you follow that, you'll find your chap is at Kirkley in 1901; William Searles is there but recorded under his first name.
