Morning Lesley - Thank you for your search of any other Creaks - I am trying to find Helen Dickson daughter of James Dickson and Margaret Bruce - I believe she was the first wife of the Thomas Creak in your April 10th reply - I cannot find any marriage record for them - I have found three children born to them but none is the Helen Dickson Creak mentioned in the MI for Thomas Creak - is there any MI's for any of these James or Margaret nee Bruce or daughter Helen Dickson - I would appreciate any little bit of info you have Barbara

Lesley,
RE: TODDs. Thanks for the info. I had Elizabeth Todd in my tree, but didn't have the marriage to George Gibson or death details, so much appreciated.
Mike.

Hi Leslie,
I have the Creak transcriptions and have found out that the maternal side traces back to the ancient family of Spottiswood or Spotswood through Barbara Spotswood. I understand very little remains of the old Spottiswood Castle and later Mansion. I was wondering if there are any inscriptions with this name in probably Westruther. Regards Richard Greene
