Hello Lesley,

I've searched the Borders Family History Society gravestones index (www.bordersfhs.org.uk) and it says there are three surname TODD stones in the Eccles m.i. volume. Could you supply details of these (or any TODDs)? Thanks greatly.

Mike.

Morning Lesley - Thank you for your search of any other Creaks - I am trying to find Helen Dickson daughter of James Dickson and Margaret Bruce - I believe she was the first wife of  the Thomas Creak   in your April 10th reply - I cannot find any marriage record for them - I have found three children born to them but none is the Helen Dickson Creak mentioned in the MI for Thomas Creak - is there any MI's for any of  these James or Margaret nee Bruce or daughter Helen Dickson -
I would appreciate any little bit of info you have

Lesley,

RE: TODDs. Thanks for the info. I had Elizabeth Todd in my tree, but didn't have the marriage to George Gibson or death details, so much appreciated.

Hi Leslie,

I have the Creak transcriptions and have found out that the maternal side traces back to the ancient family of Spottiswood or Spotswood through Barbara Spotswood. I understand very little remains of the old Spottiswood Castle and later Mansion.
I was wondering if there are any inscriptions with this name in probably Westruther.
