The FreeCEN project for Clackmannanshire has been re-started - not before time, some of you may say! Please visit our new website at www.rootsweb.com/~sctclkfc/ where you will find the full details, and plenty of information to help you with your researches in 'The Wee County'. We hope you approve.
We are working initially to put transcriptions of the 1841 Census on-line, and the first of these records - for Dollar parish - are now available for searching. You can check our website for further progress.

Since my earlier posting in September about the availability of the 1841 Census for Dollar parish on the FreeCEN site, we have also now put on-line transcriptions of the 1841 Census for about half of Tillicoultry parish (EDs 4/5) and about a quarter of Clackmannan parish (EDs 1/2, covering Sauchie and Fishcross). More will follow in due course.
