1841 Look up, Ellershaw family, Please

Sorry I originally posted this in the wrong place.

I'm looking for:
Henry Ellershaw bn about 1805 in Wray Lancs, wife Margaret b 1813 Catterton, Westmoreland (although possibly a first wife..Jane?) and children James b 1837 in Kendal and Elizabeth b 1839.

Any help would be great...really struggling  Cry

I think they are more likely to be in Lancashire in 1841.  In 1851 (HO107 2273 F320 p8 Borwick Lancs) their children are listed as James 16 b Kendal, Elizabeth 14 b Lancaster, Mary 7 b Preston and Joseph 5 b Lancaster.
They may have nipped back to Westmorland but it seems unlikely.   Have you got birth certificates for the kids?    They might help.

I've already tried posting on the Lancashire board but nothing came up unfortunately. I'll take your advice and try and get a copy of the birth cert.

maybe the Margaret is Henry the sons wife.living with in laws as I see he was a hawker on 51 he could be away hawking.
