Looking for info on Margaret Hodgins born abt 1822

Shipping records show Native Place as Abbeylix, Queen Co, Limmerick, Ireland.  Aged 19 when arriving in Australia aboard the Lascar arriving 11/11/1841 as an assisted Immigrant with Richard and Elizabeth Carter.

Hi,

Abbeyleix is in the Queens County (Laois) not Limerick. There is an Abbeylands in Limerick. Abbeyleix catholic parish records are available only from 1824 at the National library in Dublin so unless she was younger than you thought, you may only find siblings.

I noriced in your names that you have a HIGSON from Giggleswick. I have recently discovered a GG grandmother Elizabeth Higson married to John Oldham Savage.
