Hi,

I am new to this.  I am looking for any information about Richard Scudds maybe born 19.3.1800

He had a son (Richard Scudds) born 7.6.1835 in Berkshire who married Phoebe Ann Harvey.

Can anyone help?

i am also new at this  but richard scudds that came to australia in the 1800s was my husbands great great great great grandfather we have a bit of info my husbands aunty has done a fair bit of research so what did you need ,maybe you could tell me what you have

In 1851, there are only 2 SCUDDS households:

Richard b Appleford Berks Fundholder aged approx 58 - living in Letcombe Regis
Elizabeth b Adstock Buckinghamshire aged approx 58

and

William b Crowmarsh Gifford Oxon, Gardener aged approx 56 - living in Abingdon
Mary b Sutton Courtenay Berks aged approx 57

The first Richard and Elizabeth look to be likely candidates.  How do I get the birth certificate of  Richard Scudds born 7/6/1835 to verify the link ?

You will need to know the district that the birth occured, along with the registration details Volume number and Page, you can then order the certificate on line from
http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificate/index.asp
