I have been sittignat this computer now for 7 hours straight and I still haven't got any progress! I am a newbie and posted in the beginners area.
I tried the York BMD. No luck
I had full names, date of birth, and I know the he was born there. Nothing. Arthur Richard Guttridge, born 20 if february 1893 in Rotherham York (which is West ridingshire) he was a coal miner.

But apparently he just doesn't exist!

Dear Joanne,

The Yorkshire BMD and other BMD sites are a working progress on people who are transcribing the Births, Marriages and Death Indexes.

The sites adds information monthly with the help of people who are prepared to give some of there free time to help add this information. They always welcome any volunteers  Grin Grin

Otherwise you have to be a little patient and wait for the information to be added.

hi any one know whats happened to the yorkshire BMD evry time i try to get in it say unavailable any one else had this problem this week
