Cumbernauld Census
« on: Friday 08 October 04 12:13 UTC (UK) »

Hi, does anyone know where a mfiche of the 1871 Cumbernauld Census is held, apart from in Edinburgh?

For example, the censuses for Angus back to 1841 are in the main Dundee City library.  I have searched on Google to see if a library local to Cumbernauld has this but can't find anything.  The FHS doesn't seem to have the 1871 census, as far as I can see on the web.

Ideally I would like to get through there to have a look at it if I can find somewhere that has it, but I am stuck.  Does anyone know?Huh?   Roll Eyes

Thank you
