Had a mosey (in the car!) down Fisherton Street in Salisbury today. Couldn't spot either the shoemakers or the pork butchers, but at least I can now picture the location better in my mind.

Hi Dave, The second marriage you have found is that of our Thomas, following the death of his first wife Eliza.
He and his cousin Josiah were transported 21 Nov 1837 on the ship Susan to the Port Arthur Penal Colony Tasmania. They had been convicted of the burgulary of the house of Thomas Yeates of Idmiston on 13 Jan 1837. The wives of each of them refused to travel with them.
