dear Tony
   I guess because I don't have enough posts on this site..I am unable to get a personal message at this point ..perhaps we can chat on this forum until they let me..I can tell you that my mother had two sisters the oldest was Eithne and she had a twin sister named Una. My 5th grade daughter was going on a school trip to Ellis Island today so we looked up my grand parents names to see if she could look for them there and here was all of this info on my family..knew nothing of my family in Ireland..didn't even know my Grandmother's name was Fitzpatrick as both Grandparents passed before I was born. How neat. I am planning on going to Ireland in the not too distant future would love to know more.

Hello Jessica,

I've spotted an article on The Immigrants which was written by  a guy named Alfie
who was a Grade 5 student at the time he wrote about his visit to Ellis Island. http://library.thinkquest.org/5101/immig.htm
