My wife is currently researching her ancestors in the West Riding of Yorkshire:

Lister - of Ilkley & Otley.
Eastwood - of Horbury.

At the present moment we have the Lister Family back to 1727 in Otley and the Eastwoods back to 1832 in Horbury - but there are gaps, especially around the early 1900's - If anyone else has an interest in the above two surnames, we would look forward to exchanging data and furthering each others research.

The attached image is of Thornes House, home of the Gaskill Family and sitting on the seat in his sunday best is the Head Gardener - Joseph Eastwood.  Can any one date this picture?

I Just enjoy surfing the net and love a challenge.  I notice you say you have gaps aound the early 1900's.  If you put a message on the board containing names and ages and where born of the  people you need help in finding.  I'll have a scout around.

My uncle Harry Worth  (no not that one ) married a

Doris Lister

at St Andrews Church Stanningley 1920.

They lived at Rodley.
