Hi Sue

There is a marriage in the Northampton District 1847 for a Richard William Ager
he may be the one you need?.

Go to freebmd.com and see if you can find it.

That death looks right for Richard Ager.
Esther was born 1816 Gt Creaton she married Charles Hare at St Sep 23rd Aug 1838.
Esthers father was called Edward that was the Edward Masters grave that you found for me. So don't think that would be the marriage that you found .
I can't find Esthers husband  Charles at all on the census's but I can see Esther on 51 and 61 living with Richard, can't find a marriage but she died with the name Ager, I think that is her 28th June 1863 with the name of Ager so a bit confusing  did they do that in them days die with the name of the surname of the person they were living with.
Sue.....

Do you have the baps for the church please.

Well Sue

Looking at the census images it seems as though Richard was the householder and
Esther on 1851 is from Brampton and Deaf and a housekeeper.
1861 she is a servant from Boughton but noted as Hare.

So I am not sure how a marriage took place between them but the burials
I listed seem now to confirm they are the right people.

Cheers Sandy that is correct they were sisters.
Are you able to find Reuben Hare bn 1840  Northampton I have him on all the other census's but not 1841, he gives different places on the census years though but I think they would all be Northampton.

This is what I have on the other years for him but as he was only a toddler I am sure he would of been in Northampton at the time of the 1841 census.
Thankyou for your reply on this one........

Northamptonshire and I can not see him anywhere.

Hi Ian and thanks,

Some of my Johnson's were definitely in this parish during census, I'll have to do some more work to tie them in, but much appreciated!

Hi Ian  Grin

It looks like I can not assist you by putting photographs on the Northamptonshire
Forum to match your inscriptions any more. Sad  Sad  Sad

Apparently it can only be done on the Beginners Forum.

Oh well keep up the good work.
