I am wanting 1841 & 1851 census lookups for alexander sutherland & wife jane (nee cooper)
they were born c 1780's. perhaps clyne, lairg.

I don't know if you have tried freecen at http://www.freecen.org.uk/ for the 1841 census. There are a number of Alexander Sutherland's coming up born in Clyne of varying ages with details of households.
