Welcome to rootschat

Records between the 1911 census and the index for immigrants 1925 - 1935 are pretty scarce. There is an ongoing project that hopes to transcribe passengers that came through Halifax and Quebec for the years 1908 to 1920, currently they have 1908 to 1910, but it would be worth making a record of it and checking for updates

Do you know Albert's d.o.b and his/Emily's parent's names? You said in a previous post your Aunt Emily married a Canadian. Do you know if Albert was born in Canada or did he perhaps immigrate at an earlier date, return to England, meet and marry your Aunt Emily and then they both moved back to Canada? Every little bit of information you have, however insignificant you may think helps Smiley

they came from Melchbourne Bedfordshire they were born in Great St Staughton Hunts Emily E Woodham was B:1861 Albert E Woodham was B:1884. Thank You

Thank you. Albert E Woodham was B:1884  in Great Staughton Hunts and lived in Melchbourne Bedfordshire until after the war.

Just re-read, previous post, Emily married a 'Coleman' maiden name was Woodham, my bad  Roll Eyes Emily and Albert were siblings  Grin

Albert was B;1884 in Gt Staughton Huntingdonshire as was Emily his sister B:1889  their parents name was Thomas and Martha and they are in Melchbourne grave yard. do not know if Albert was 1st to go to Canada but Emily married a canadian in UK and had two children in Canada. Albert married in Canada.Thank you
