Hi all,
I'm looking for a marriage in approx 1882-4 of the following people in Derby.
JOHN ROBERT BOOLER DOB 1862, TURNDITCH, DERBY.
And
HARRIET, MAIDEN NAME UNKNOWN, BUT DOB 1864, POB BELPER.
Their first child Samuel was born 1884 in Marehay, Ripley, so this may be where they got married.
The only marriage I can find on freeBDM for J R Booler, is with a Mary Beardsley, but on the census returns I have his wifes name is Harriet.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Jim,
I think you have the right one there. John Booler is on page 1105, with a Mary and an Eliza. But there is a Harriet Foster on page 1104. Sometimes the husband and wife get split over the page like that. (You'll see on page 1105 that there are 3 men and only 2 women, so one of them is missing their partner.)

God! that was quick, and brilliant! thanks for putting me right, I'll check freeBDM again, never noticed one of the wifes was missing, this must be the Harriet i'm looking for.
