"Forever Searching, Forever Learning"
|
My ancestral research has now taken me into Lincolnshire where I am trying to find more information on the GREEN and FREEBURY names from 1900 backwards.
The GREENS appear to originate around Branston and Faldingworth; whilst the FREEBURYS appear to be mostly in Nettleham and Scampton. Other names connected with the GREENS and FREEBURYS in the 19th century include OWENS, LONG and WADDINGHAM.
There are many spelling variations for FREEBURY including FREBURY, FREEBY, FREEBERRY, FREEBRY etc.
I do have the information for both the above families from the 1881 and 1901 Census - but would appreciate info from the 1851 - 71 census returns.
May I thank you for your time and attention in reading this message
Thanks

new to this don't really know what I'm doing. seen old post about henry freebury born broughton 1852. he is my great granddad. he was 9 in the 1861 census as i suppose you will already know this. he married ellen horner in 1879 and they had my granddad Walter and brothers Arthur and Herbert. my father was Walter henry born to Walter and Alice parkinson. they lived in misterton. henry freeburys father was William and i think he married a Hannah walker of broughton. have you any information that you give me on this freebury line. sorry to bother you with this cos its long time since you asked for info. thanking you in anticipation Marilyn.
