Hello Everyone

I am seeking information on James Townley he married Agnes Shields 10 March 1829 Killinchy.  They had a daughter Arabella who was born Belfast about 1845 so ther must be other siblings.

I need his birth and death and mother.  His father was also James Townley and they came from Ardmillan.  I have no other information on the father or the son other than what I have told you.

Can anyone help please?

Heather, briefly from www.family search.com, you will need to look the site up:-
James Townley m Agnes Shields 10 March 1829 Killinchy Presbyterian church.
Elinor c: 24 Jun 1830
Elizabeth c: 26 Jan 1834
Arabella b Belfast about 1845 not confirmed in  my search in Familysearch.com
James the father may have had a sister Janey m David Orram 29 JAN 1814 and another sister Eliza Sarah c: 09 Mar 1816 An earlier Eliza Sarah was recorded in Downpatrick not that far away

Have you tried the Ulster Historical Foundation ?

Hello Jim

Thank you so much for all the info  I did a parent search and found nothing.  There must be some more siblings as there is a 10 year gap still before Arabella is born.  I have looked for her under the many variations she uses for her name but can find nothing.

Someone gave some more info and there are 6 children altogether for Downpatrick whose parents are Robert Townley and Ann.

I have posted on the site that you mention but no luck as yet.
