I wonder can some one tell me how to finde a birth I have my great grandfathers death cert which gives his age as 58 when he died 1888 which means he was born 1829-1830 on the 1851 Carlisle census he gives his place of birth Preston Lancs ocupation Cotton spinner  I have tried the IgI he is listered no where apart from various census in Carisle up to his death
