Nerys
Thanks for your P.M (I am cross eyed) and email

Mersey Tunnel has shortened Gladstone Road

Shortened it,it was miniminized Grin For some reason Gladstone road isn't in the 1861 Mawdsey directory,I found the 1905 one.The original Gladstone Road was numbered up to 112 Shocked Living in number 74 was Oliver Dobbin who was a Fitter. 1814/15 Directory has a George Davies a carter living at number 74. At random i picked up the 1971 directory by then the road seemed already to have shortened.Because one side went from number 2 to 32 the other side went from 3 to 65.

Hi Lyn,
Thanks very much for sending the pictures. They have given me a little bit of an insight into where my ggrandmother was living in 1896 before she got married.  I didn't really expect the other house where they lived in 1901, Gladstone Road to still be there, times change Smiley
Best wishes

Hi Celia,
Sorry, I locked it because I think this topic has gone as far as it needs to now. I have been given a huge ammount of information to go on which has heightened my interest to maybe sometime this year visit the location myself. I need to pay the Liverpool Archives a visit as more and more relations from this district are coming out of the woodwork now since my mam has gained interest again too. I may also find more on my Bebington Price family too. Thank you all for your help and support it's fantastic. Grin
Kind Regards

If you don't want any more replies you can just go to your first post and in the subject line and in comers (topic closed). If you really don't want any new information from new relatives. You can unsubscribe from the topic, did you get my photo's.

Celia,
I didn't realise that about locking the topic.  Huh I may have posted a few queries on this site, but I am still relatively new and was enjoying the experience.
I haven't received any photo's from you.
