Here's a brilliant website for Ireland - it has a lot of Wexford stuff - but possibly not census info.

Kathy,
I would be interested in why you say that the From Ireland web site is 'brilliant'
It is a good site. It carries as much information as is required to obtain copies of any civil registration listed from the GRO - it does not currently carry census information other than for Belfast.
WHat makes you say that this is a brilliant Irish web site.
There are a lot of links going to From Ireland from the rootschat site.

Jayne,
You will not find many county wexford birth records on line.
It depends on what you are looking for. The From Ireland web site already mentioned does carry references from the Irish civil registers, you may be lucky and find that the surname you are interested in is covered.
As regrads census records - the only information you will find will be for the 1901 or 1911 census. You will find some ofthe Wexford 1901 census on the Leitrim-Roscommon web site. I don't have the URL - but, all you have to do is a search on Google or any other search engine for Leitrim-Roscommon and you wil find the URL
Best of luck,
Jane

Sorry if you don't think it's brilliant ! ......... but I do ! I found it by chance and found it really interesting especially as it does not concern itself with the division of religions !
I personally rate it better than just good !
Anyway - it's worth a look - !
Oh! yes.....now I see why you're asking.....you just want me to tell you why you're so brilliant ! is that it ?
