Cooper family
« on: Tuesday 04 April 06 19:33 BST (UK) »

Am searching for any information about my grandparents:
Elizabeth Jane (nee Humphrys) and Henry James Cooper.
Elizabeth was the youngest of seven children and Henry the oldest of six.  They were born c1875, probably in Walthamstow where they lived all their married lives.  They had two children, Jack (William John Henry) and Laura Dorothy Grace.

Would be grateful for any info.

Hi Ann

It would help if you were a bit more specific with your information. For example, exactly who was born about 1875?

And what information to you already have?  Census returns?  If so, which year?

Thank you all for your help.

Thank you CP, names very familiar: I have photographs of William and Caroline and Henry J was my grandfather with sisters Lily, Harriet (not on 1891 census  - wonder where she was), Ada, Walter killed in 1st world war and Edith.  Did not know about Ernest - perhaps he did not survive.

Thank you Sue.  The Humphrys came from Wales and Elizabeth had sisters Annie, Beatrice, Laura and Annie and brothers Tom and Will.

Thank you all again
