There is also a christening of a Thomas Milburn s/o Joseph and Jane 22 Oct 1837.
Later in 1845 in Byers Green there is a christening of another Thomas Milburn 25 Dec 1845 s/o Joseph and Jane. This was the parish church for Newfield in that year.

You could order their death certificates.
Thomas Milburn 1838 Dec ¼ Auckland 24 9 William Milburn 1838 Dec ¼ Auckland 24 8
Thomas Milburn 1863 Jan ¼ Auckland 10a 109
One parish record I was looking at (not yours) had astericks by several names and on the bottom of the page stating that Cholera was rampany in the parish. I have also seen this for mining accidents too. Cause of death sould be on death certificates.

This is a cake walk compared to research in the US where accessable centralized records did not really start until 1905 or so.
If you get the death certificates, most likely they would have been buried in the local parish churchyard. The address where they lived when died would give you an idea of the parish. The parish record would be the burial record. Those usually do not give cause of death though.
