Hi all........
I am looking for information on Andrew Gilchrist married to Anne Stirling in Kirkintilloch, marriage date unknown.
Son Andrew Jr. was born December 30,1818 in Kirkintilloch.
Any information on Andrew Sr. and his family would be helpful and appreciated.
Also, could/would SKS give me the name of the cemetery/cemeteries in Kirkintilloch.

Hi All.....
Duh to me!   Huh I should have asked for a 1841 census look-up for my Gilchrist Family.
Andrew Gilchrist married Anne Stirling, in Kirkintillock, Dunbartonshire.
The son we know of is Andrew Jr. born December 30, 1818 in Kirkintillock.
Any information on Andrew Sr. and his family would be helpful and appreciated.

Hi, I was in the Kirkintilloch Library last September to look up my family census (Johnson). The librarian there was so helpful..she helped me look up the census and newspaper clippings. Her copier was broken that day so she sent me copies of a newspaper article later (to my British Columbia address).. Maybe they can be of help to you:
